Nexpa was a large girl at the top of the standard, with draft substance and beautiful movement. She was heavy coated and well covered with lush undercoat. Playful and sweet, she made the BEST teammate in the obedience ring, show ring and around the farm. Nexpa is Wookie's daughter from her breeding to Mon, born May 29, 2014, at Grand Canyon North Rim.
She is the dam of our "B" Litter , "C" Litter, and "E" Litter.
A top ranked Swissy, as #1 Silver GCH bitch, #10 bitch, and #44 Swissy in lifetime AKC Grand Champion Points*, Nexpa was a Multiple AKC Group Placer, Best of Opposite in Specialty Winner, and a 6X Specialty Select Winner. She was a BRONZE NOHS Achiever, finishing this certificate at age 8 from the Veteran Classes.
Nexpa completed her Grand Championship on Dec 12, 2015, at 18.5 months, with big honors along the way including Select at the Independent Specialty at the 2015 Nationals in Colorado, Select at the Golden Gate Supported Entry, and multiple Best of Breeds wins.
She finished her AKC championship at 14 months with three majors. She finished with a BANG in Reno, NV on August 16, 2015, by going Best of Breed over the specials entry.
2016: #2 bitch and #6 overall GSMD in AKC National Owner Handled Series, multiple NOHS group placements, Best of Opposite- AKC NOHS Finals (Orlando), Select Bitch Golden Gate GSMDC Specialty.
2017: #11 GSMD All-breed and #9 GSMD in Grand Champion points, Multiple Group Placements, Best of Opposite Sex - Golden Gate Specialty.
2018: March: Silver Grand Championship, ranking #7 bitch and #33 GSMD lifetime GCH points (210), as of March 10, 2018. September: Group 4 in Helena, MT. October: Select at both the GSMDCA Western Regional and the Golden Gate GSMD Specialties. Ranked #23 All-Breed, with extremely limited showing.
2019: February: Select Winner and 1st Brood Bitch, GSMDCA Sweetheart Specialty. October: Select Bitch GSMDCA Western Regional Specialty (daughter Alta was BOS/BOBOH).
2021: Golden State Specialty: 1st Place Veteran Bitch 7-9 years old, Best Veteran, 1st Place Generations (Nexpa, Alta, Clover), GSMDCA Western Regional: 1st Place Veteran Bitch 7-9 years old, 1st Place Generations (Nexpa, Alta, Clover)
2022: 1st Place Golden State Specialty, 7-9 year old bitches, and Best of Opposite Veteran in Specialty.
2023: 1st Place GSMDCA National Specialty, 9-11 year old bitches, 1st Place GSMDCA Veteran Sweepstakes, 9-11 bitches. 3rd Place Team Rally, GSMDCA Nationals.
In 2016 and 2017, Nexpa achieved these rankings with time off for pregnancy and puppy rearing. In 2018, Nexpa retired from regular showing. She continued to show occasionally, at specialties and in veteran classes, until the month before her passing, and she never stopped loving the show ring. Her three favorite things were getting groomed, sleeping on our bed with us, and giving big sloppy face kisses to her humans.
